The H50010 is an AS568-010 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving strong acids or polar solvents call for a different compound.
