Product Specification

-
H70FDA029 is an AS568-029 white Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.489 in (37.82 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.629 in (41.38 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or polar solvents call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact under 21 CFR 177.2600. It sees regular use in agricultural equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and automotive.

Stocked as H70FDA029 and sold individually. Unit weight is approximately 0.385 g and nominal inside diameter is listed as 1 1/2 inch. Review your operating media and conditions against this specification before installation.
