H70FDA140 is an AS568-140 white Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.237 in (56.82 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.443 in (62.05 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to propane and butane, hydraulic fluids, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include general industrial maintenance, fluid power, and automotive.
