Product Specification

-
The H70MD012 is an AS568-012 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs, strong abrasion and tear resistance. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, water, and hydraulic fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones or strong acids call for a different compound.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. You will find this material specified across construction equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and general industrial maintenance.

H70MD012 ships individually. Confirm chemical compatibility, pressure and temperature against your own application requirements before installing. APG can cross-reference from an existing part number, a drawing or a physical sample if this size is not an exact match.
