The H70MD025 is an AS568-025 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.176 in (29.87 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.316 in (33.43 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

The compound resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.

The compound is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include general industrial maintenance, agricultural equipment, and construction equipment.
