568-045 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

APG stocks the SH70045, an AS568-045 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring built to an inside diameter of 3.989 in (101.32 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.129 in (104.88 mm). A square-cut ring seals with a broad flat contact band instead of the line contact of a round-section ring.

The material holds up against propane and butane, water, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Applications involving polar solvents or automotive brake fluid call for a different compound.
