The H3X109 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 109 mm (4.291 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 115 mm (4.53 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The material holds up against propane and butane, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or strong acids are present.
