H1X13 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 13 mm (0.512 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 15 mm (0.59 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and propane and butane. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.
