H5X13 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13 mm (0.512 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 23 mm (0.91 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in strong acids or ketones.
