568-134 BUNA 70 SQUARE CUT RINGS

APG stocks the SH70134, an AS568-134 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Square-Cut Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.862 in (47.29 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.068 in (52.53 mm). A square-cut ring seals with a broad flat contact band instead of the line contact of a round-section ring.

The compound resists propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). The profile itself contributes simple lathe-cut manufacture at low tooling cost and a rectangular section that will not roll in the groove.
