Ordered as H3X156, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 156 mm (6.142 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 162 mm (6.38 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. This material stands up to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and greases and lubricants. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or polar solvents will shorten service life.
