H5X175 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 175 mm (6.89 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 185 mm (7.28 in). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and propane and butane. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ketones are present.

It sees regular use in general industrial maintenance, automotive, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
