APG stocks the H3X186, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 186 mm (7.323 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 192 mm (7.56 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The compound resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ketones or strong acids will shorten service life.
