H5X195 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 195 mm (7.677 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 205 mm (8.07 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against propane and butane, water, and many alcohols. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
