Ordered as H5X215, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 215 mm (8.465 in), a cross section of 5 mm (0.197 in), and an outside diameter of 225 mm (8.86 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or automotive brake fluid are present.

It sees regular use in automotive, general industrial maintenance, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
