Part number H1.6X2.2 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.2 mm (0.087 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 5.4 mm (0.21 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to polar solvents or strong acids will shorten service life.
