H2X22 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 22 mm (0.866 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 26 mm (1.02 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists water, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or polar solvents.
