The H3X225 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 225 mm (8.858 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 231 mm (9.09 in). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) offers strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to propane and butane, water, and petroleum-based oils. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or strong acids are present.

Typical settings include general industrial maintenance, automotive, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
