H4X232 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 232 mm (9.134 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 240 mm (9.45 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The compound resists water, hydraulic fluids, and propane and butane. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or automotive brake fluid.
