6MM CS X 242MM ID BLACK BUNA 70D

The H6X242 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 242 mm (9.528 in), a cross section of 6 mm (0.236 in), and an outside diameter of 254 mm (10 in). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to many alcohols, water, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
