A square-cut ring resists the spiral failure that affects round rings on long reciprocating strokes.

Buna-N (Nitrile) offers reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, petroleum-based oils, and water. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or automotive brake fluid are present.
