H8X260 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 260 mm (10.236 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 276 mm (10.87 in). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in automotive brake fluid or ketones.
