APG stocks the H3X28, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 28 mm (1.102 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 34 mm (1.34 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists petroleum-based oils, water, and hydraulic fluids. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or automotive brake fluid are present.

Typical settings include automotive, fluid power, and agricultural equipment.
