The H8X280 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 280 mm (11.024 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 296 mm (11.65 in). This o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Expect good resistance to many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
