Part number H3X292 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 292 mm (11.496 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 298 mm (11.73 in). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. It resists water, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or polar solvents will shorten service life.
