The H3X3 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 3 mm (0.118 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 9 mm (0.35 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers low compression set under sustained load, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. Expect good resistance to many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving ketones or ozone and direct sunlight call for a different compound.
