H2.5X31 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 31 mm (1.22 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 36 mm (1.42 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. The material holds up against many alcohols, hydraulic fluids, and greases and lubricants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C).
