APG stocks the H8X310, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 310 mm (12.205 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 326 mm (12.83 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. The material holds up against greases and lubricants, petroleum-based oils, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.
