4.5MM CS X 40MM ID BLACK BUNA 70D

APG stocks the H4.5X40, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 40 mm (1.575 in), a cross section of 4.5 mm (0.177 in), and an outside diameter of 49 mm (1.93 in). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or polar solvents will shorten service life.
