H2X6 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6 mm (0.236 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 10 mm (0.39 in). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. The compound resists water, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or strong acids call for a different compound.
