Ordered as H3X90, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 90 mm (3.543 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 96 mm (3.78 in). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material holds up against propane and butane, water, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to automotive brake fluid or strong acids will shorten service life.
