Ordered as H8X90, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 90 mm (3.543 in), a cross section of 8 mm (0.315 in), and an outside diameter of 106 mm (4.17 in). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to greases and lubricants, many alcohols, and petroleum-based oils. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in polar solvents or strong acids.
