Part number H90M1X17 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 17 mm (0.669 in), a cross section of 1 mm (0.039 in), and an outside diameter of 19 mm (0.75 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to water, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong acids.
