APG stocks the NU6226-47, a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal supplied with a 1/2 inch inside diameter, a 3/4 inch outside diameter, and a height of 1/8 inch. An u-cup seal seals more effectively as system pressure increases, without added squeeze at rest.

The material holds up against many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Applications involving polar solvents or ketones call for a different compound.
