The NU8403-0031 is a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal built to a 5/16 inch inside diameter, a 1/2 inch outside diameter, and a height of 3/32 inch. This u-cup seal uses a U-shaped profile that system pressure forces outward, tightening the seal as pressure rises.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for low compression set under sustained load and economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. The compound resists hydraulic fluids, greases and lubricants, and many alcohols.
