APG stocks the NU8405-0118, a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup Seal. An u-cup seal provides low breakaway friction with strong sealing under load.

The compound resists water, propane and butane, and greases and lubricants. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Exposure to polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive, agricultural equipment, and general industrial maintenance.
