8400 SERIES BUNA CUP 3-1/16 X3-1/2 X7/32

Ordered as NU8407-0306, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) U-Cup U-Cup Seal with a 3-1/16 inch inside diameter, a 3-1/2 inch outside diameter, and a height of 7/32 inch. The u-cup seal provides low breakaway friction with strong sealing under load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists propane and butane, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Exposure to ketones or automotive brake fluid will shorten service life.
