APG stocks the TFE201, an AS568-201 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) offers a very wide continuous service temperature range and near-universal chemical inertness. It resists steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.

Typical settings include aggressive-media pipelines, semiconductor fabrication, and laboratory equipment.

TFE201 ships individually. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
