The TFE205 is an AS568-205 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.421 in (10.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.699 in (17.75 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) delivers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and a very wide continuous service temperature range. This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and oxidizing media. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
