TFE361 is an AS568-361 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.395 in (162.43 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists steam, oxidizing media, and strong acids and bases. PTFE (Teflon) is valued for a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Applications involving molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery call for a different compound.
