The TFE384 is an AS568-384 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists strong acids and bases, solvents, and nearly all industrial chemicals. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.

Typical settings include laboratory equipment, food and beverage, and chemical processing.
