A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
