Q-105 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

This quad-ring is supplied in AS568-105 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.143 in (3.63 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.349 in (8.86 mm), catalogued under part number QV70105. It resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
