APG stocks the QV70257, an AS568-257 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.859 in (148.82 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.137 in (155.88 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

The material holds up against many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation.
