APG stocks the QV70265, an AS568-265 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.734 in (196.44 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.012 in (203.5 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, automotive fuel systems, and oil and gas.
