Q-277 FLUOROELASTOMER 75 Q RING

The QV70277 is an AS568-277 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 11.484 in (291.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.762 in (298.75 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters. The profile itself contributes two sealing bands per contact face rather than one and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.
