Part number QV70315 is an AS568-315 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.787 in (19.99 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.207 in (30.66 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
