Ordered as QV70324, this is an AS568-324 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.77 in (44.96 mm). The quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
