APG stocks the QH70368, an AS568-368 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.725 in (196.22 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.145 in (206.88 mm). A quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to propane and butane, many alcohols, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, strong abrasion and tear resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving automotive brake fluid or ketones call for a different compound. The profile itself contributes a parting line located away from the sealing surface and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
