APG stocks the QH70386, an AS568-386 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 16.955 in (430.66 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 17.375 in (441.33 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

The compound resists hydraulic fluids, many alcohols, and water. Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. The material carries a published service range of -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where polar solvents or ozone and direct sunlight are present. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and two sealing bands per contact face rather than one.
